The tradition is thought to have originated in the early 1900s, with friends and family swapping cookies to save time and spread the holiday spirit. 1. Invitations First, start by inviting your guests in style with a personalized invitation! It's a good idea to first send a Save the Date as soon as possible as everyone gets so busy during the holiday season! Followed by the invitation itself featuring cute cookie and gingerbread men graphics, perfect for setting the tone. It includes all the important details like the time, location, and how many cookies each guest should bring. The whimsical design will get everyone excited for the fun-filled day.
2. Cookie Rules Each guest typically bakes a dozen cookies for each participant (plus a few extras for sampling).
